Tylosaurus proriger finds a dead baby Dolichorhynchops osborni
Correct likely coloration based off of most current evidence, proper proportions and body structure based off the most current evidence including the density of flesh over the skull, even the inclusion of the forked tongue akin to their living monitor lizard relatives. This is by far one of the best renditions of a mosasaur, let alone a Tylosaurus proriger, I have seen in years. Thank you for creating this wonderful and very likely accurate rendition depicting the Ruler of the Western Interior Seaway.
Now that's what a mosasaur really looks like!
"No wait I'm not dead I'm just being adorable floating on my back!"
Awesome job! this is probably one of my favorite Mosasaur depictions
Nice work making it properly "whale-y"
I love the tongue flicking out to "sniff" the carcass, like a modern varanid lizard.
That is very awesome
